Lenovo isn’t just about laptops with the update to its portfolio of products – the company has unveiled the new ThinkCentre M52 and M51 personal computers (PCs) to begin shipping on October 21.

ThinkCentre M52 is based on the Intel 945G Express chipset (graphics subsystem – integrated into the chipset), supports DDR2 SDRAM and Intel Active Management Technology (iAMT), equipped with biometric sensors located on the keyboard.

In total, there are currently seven models in the series, differing in the processor clock speed, hard disk capacity and the duration of the warranty period. All come preinstalled with Windows XP Professional (SP2).

The older model, 8215-D7J, is based on Pentium 4 630 (3.0 GHz), is equipped with 512 MB of RAM, 80 GB hard disk and DVD-ROM drive, floppy disk drive. Estimated cost – about $ 1,200 with a standard warranty and about $ 1,300 with a three-year warranty.

The younger model, 8099-A2J, uses a Celeron D 331 (2.66 GHz), 256 MB memory, 40 GB hard disk and CD-ROM drive, floppy drive. Estimated cost – about $ 700. Model sizes – 309x359x85 mm, weight – 8.3 kg.
