PenReader in the service of the state

Paragon Software (SHDD) won the tender of a state customer representing the interests of law enforcement agencies to develop a hardware and software complex using PenReader technology for continuous handwriting recognition.

At the end of August 2021, Paragon Software (SHDD), a leading Russian software developer for various mobile platforms, took part in a state tender for the development of a software and hardware complex using a continuous handwriting recognition system initiated by law enforcement agencies.

This competition, according to the law on holding such state tenders, could take place only on condition that at least two applicant companies took part in it. All projects for the development of the agro-industrial complex were submitted to the tender commission at the end of August. The results of this tender were announced in September.
According to the conclusion of the tender committee, the project of Paragon Software (SHDD) was recognized as the best among other competitive proposals.

As a result, Paragon Software (SHDD) received a contract for the development of a software and hardware complex using its PenReader system for continuous handwriting recognition.

Currently, Paragon Software (SHDD) is already working on the development of a software and hardware complex using PenReader technology, which recognizes merged handwritten text at a high quality level. A possible manufacturer of the hardware part of this complex will be the Wacom company – the world leader in the development of digital data input devices.
