P100: GPS PDA from Dopod

Since, as we already reported, there have been several announcements of GPS-enabled Pocket PCs from brands such as Asus and Dell in recent weeks, lesser-known companies are also catching up with the leaders. Thus, the Taiwanese vendor Dopod announces the release of the P100 PDA, which is already available in the local market (since yesterday) and is expected in other markets of Southeast Asia in December.

Dopod P100 runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 and, in addition to GPS support, supports Wi-Fi wireless networks (IEEE 802.11b).

Next year, the company plans to actively enter the global market and is going to present more than 10 smartphones and communicators.
