n310 and n311: the first Acer PDAs on Windows Mobile 5.0
Acer, about which a lot has already been said today, showed remarkable agility in yet another field – pocket PCs (PDA or PDA), presenting among the first the new n300 series running on the new Windows Mobile 5 OS.0.
At the moment, the series is represented by two models: n310 (pictured above) and n311 (pictured below).
Measuring 110x70x14 mm and weighing 135 g, the Acer n300 series handhelds are based on the Samsung S3C2440 microprocessor with a clock frequency of 400 MHz. Both n310 and n311 are equipped with 64 MB of RAM, differing in the amount of flash memory – 64 MB for the n310 and 128 MB for the n311. Both support Bluetooth, but only n311 additionally supports Wi-Fi 802.11b.
The rest of the PDA specifications are the same: 3.7-inch thin-film (TFT) LCD displaying 65536 colors, SD / MMC / SDIO connector and USB 1.1, and the handheld is able to act as a host (host).
As part of the software shipped with Windows Mobile 5.0 Premium Edition, includes Office Mobile (Excel, PowerPoint and Word Mobile) and Pocket TV Enterprise Edition MPEG1 video playback application.
