The Rabbit 4000 microprocessor is about to start shipping
As it became known, the start of deliveries of the Rabbit 4000 microprocessor, designed by Rabbit Semiconductor, is scheduled for April 4.
The first information about the Rabbit 4000 microprocessor was published last fall. New addition to Rabbit family of processors for embedded applications. The new processor differs from its predecessors in the presence of a built-in 10Base-T Ethernet interface and a DMA controller (8 independent DMA channels).

The assignment of many pins of the microprocessor is changed by software (4 levels of reassignment are implemented).
