Sharp Mebius PC-AE50M: the mediaPC shelf has arrived? Or one manufacturer less…
Not so often Sharp company “pleases” (why in quotes? – more on this below) us with new products from computer electronics, and especially ready-made computers. We recently announced the release of MediaPC by Fujitsu, as well as some other companies. Today we will talk about mediaPC produced by Sharp.
The model has its own designation – Mebius PC-AE50M. Last time
this line of mobile computers was updated at the end of last year,
what we already wrote about.
- OS: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2

- Skype software – SkypeOut
- Battery life: ~ 1.7 hours
- Sizes: 329?277?30 mm
- Weight: 2.8kg
As you can see, the “novelty” can hardly surprise. Is that your weak
predisposition to work with media… which is quite surprising, especially,
considering the company’s positioning of this product. No comparison
comes with Fujitsu product… sheer disappointment.
In general, the PC-AE50M does not differ much from last year’s PC-AE50L, and this
bad, t.to. has frankly weak configuration parameters, short battery life from
batteries – all this is more like not the announcement of a new pleasant product,
recommended for purchase, but rather, on the contrary, a demonstration of how not
there must be a modern product positioned in the media PC sector.
the release itself and the corresponding announcement by Sharp of the Mebius PC-AE50M are, to put it mildly, incomprehensible.
