GV-RX18, GV-RX16 and GV-RX13: Gigabyte motherboards on Radeon X1000

With its press release, Gigabyte has officially announced several new graphics adapters based on ATI’s 90nm Radeon X1000 GPUs. New products from Gigabyte include the GV-RX18T512VB, GV-RX18L256VB (based on the Radeon X1800) combined into the GV-RX18 series, and several boards based on the Radeon X1600 and Radeon X1300 that make up the GV-RX16 and GV-RX13 series, respectively.

Such characteristics as the clock speed of the core and memory of motherboards do not differ from the reference ones (for more details, see. here.), the GV-RX18T512VB has 512 MB installed, and the GV-RX18L256VB has 256 MB of GDDRIII memory.

All new boards, according to the press release, support Avivo technology, and some of the graphics adapters of the GV-RX16 and GV-RX13 series will, presumably, be available in silent versions – with passive cooling.
