New details about Conroe XE, Kentsfield and Merom from Intel plans

As often happens, our Chinese colleagues from the HKEPC website were able to get their hands on Intel internal documents, which contain the timing and technical characteristics of the company’s future processors. This is how the information we published in February looked like:

  • E6700: 2.66GHz / FSB 1066 / 4MB L2 cache
  • E6600: 2.40 GHz / FSB 1066 / 4MB L2 cache
  • E6400: 2.13GHz / FSB 1066 / 2MB L2 cache
  • E6300: 1.86 GHz / FSB 1066 / 2MB L2 cache
  • E4200: 1.60 GHz / FSB 800 / 2MB L2 cache
  • Conroe Extreme Edition (XE), specifications not yet available.

In addition, Merom LVs with Merom specifications should be expected, and Merom ULVs with 533 MHz FSB will be used. The only model in this line that is still known is the U7500, clocked at 1.06 GHz. Maybe with her UMPC will finally work more than two hours?
