FinePix A400 and A500: Replenishment of Fujifilm’s Budget A-Line Cameras

Fujifilm has announced two entry-level cameras, the FinePix A400 and FinePix A500, to complement its budget A-line, which today includes the FinePix A345, FinePix A350, FinePix A360 and FinePix A370.

New items differ from each other only in the resolution of SuperCCD HR sensors – 4.1 megapixels for the A400 and 5.1 megapixels for the A500. At the same time, matrices of both cameras have the same physical size of 1 / 2.5 inches. The rest of the technical characteristics, as well as the design, are identical.

The cameras support PictBridge direct printing technology and, in addition to 1.8-inch LCD displays, are equipped with optical viewfinders.

The start of sales is scheduled for March 2021.
