According to a source citing WSTS (World Semiconductor Trade Statistics), sales of semiconductor chips in July amounted to 18 billion. dollars, which is 0.3% less than in the previous month, and does not differ from last year’s indicators.
The only regions that saw growth during July are Asia Pacific and Japan (reported separately). Semiconductor sales grew by 1.7 (to 8.3 billion. dollars) and 0.7% (3.6 billion. dollars), respectively. Sales volumes in the Americas fell 1.3% to 3.1 billion. dollars, in Europe – by 2%, to 3.0 billion. dollars.
